What Must I Do to be Saved?
In Acts 2:37, when the people on the day of Pentecost heard Peter preaching about Jesus, they desired to know what they needed to do to be saved. The question is extremely important for you today also. Let us look into the Scriptures to see how you may be saved.

Hear
So belief cometh of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ (Romans 10:17).
Before you can believe or do any other thing, you must hear the Gospel of Christ. You can seek a Christian or listen to Jesus yourself by reading His Word.
Believe
And they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house” (Acts 16:31).
When you hear the Gospel, you must accept the reality that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and put your trust in Him. You cannot please God if you do not have faith in Him (Hebrews 11:6).

Confess
Because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).
Once you believe, you need to confess before others that Jesus is indeed the Christ. You do this by mouth and work to confess Jesus by your deeds also.
Repent
“The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent” (Acts 17:30).
To repent is to express sorrow at what you have done and to change your mind. When you repent of your sins, you turn from them and determine in your mind to walk according to Christ’s will.

Be Baptized
And Peter said unto them, “Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38).
Baptism represents being immersed in water for the remission of sin. Baptism is the only way the Bible describes how you can have your sins forgiven through Christ’s blood (Matthew 26:29).
Obey Christ
“But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13).
Baptism is not the end of God’s plan for you; indeed, it is the beginning. When you become a new creature in Christ, you live to serve Him, associating with others who are also trying to serve Him, and striving to endure to the end!
